These shirts are FULL CUT. The Neck Size is true to size. The neck size comes in full and half sizes. The Sleeve Length is true to size. On the Regular Dress Shirt the sleeve length sizes go as follows:
32-33, 34-35, 36-37. There are two buttons on the sleeve to allow for the double sleeve size. The first button will allow the sleeve length to be the bigger size, while the second button will tighten the sleeve restricting it from falling lower on your hand causing it to be the smaller sleeve length size.
The French Cuff is different. On the French Cuff shirt there really is NO ADJUSTMENT, the shirt will always be the longer sleeve length size. However we find that this will be OK for most people. Please note the all french cuff sleeves are like this.
HOW TO MEASURE:
To measure your neck size you can take a piece of string, dental floss or what ever else you may have and wrap it around your neck where your collar should fit. Measure directly on your skin not over any other material. Then simply measure the string and add up to 1/2 inch for comfort.
To measure your sleeve length use a string and have someone measure this for you by starting at the top of your shoulders at the middle of your neck and with your arm down at your side continue to measure over your shoulder just past your wrist or to where you like to wear your shirt. Then use the closest size. If needed, it's best to add a little than to subtract a little.
For harder to fit people refer to the size chart for chest size and waist size to help you determine the proper size. Some men with a little extra around the mid section may have a smaller neck. Be sure that the chest and waist size measurements are close to the measurements on the size chart so the shirt will fit you in the body without pulling.
If you need to measure your chest or waist do so by using the same techniques. It's usually not a good idea to use your old pants size for your waist measurement because the waist could have shrunk or could be stretched out. Even if you still fit into your old pants, when buying a new pair you might be buying a different size.
The TALL SIZE 36-37 will not only have a longer sleeve but a longer length at the bottom as well.
